Carbuncle is a recurring mascot of the Madou Monogatari and Puyo Puyo series, along with their respective spin-offs.
The Dark Prince is the final boss of Madou Monogatari II and several early entries of the Puyo Puyo series. His ultimate goals are to marry Arle Nadja and to reclaim his former pet Carbuncle.
Schezo is a dark wizard and high-level opponent from the Madou Monogatari and Puyo Puyo series. His desire to gain Arle's power is misconstrued as sexual desire.

Incubus is an enemy character from the Madou Monogatari and Puyo Puyo series. The womanizing demon wears makeup, peppers his speech with English phrases, and repeatedly fails to seduce Arle.
Zombie is an enemy from the Madou Monogatari and Puyo Puyo series. The rotting creature persistently attacks Arle, even when he's reduced to a pair of legs.
The Banshee Trio appear as enemies in the Madou Monogatari and Puyo Puyo series. The trio consists of three girls who are never seen apart from each other.
Sukiyapodes is an enemy from the Madou Monogatari and Puyo Puyo series. He is a creature with one giant foot.
Scylla is a dog-woman from the Madou Monogatari series. She cameos in some console and handheld Puyo Puyo games.
