On all the game sites I have been on, the critics have given it a bad review. But why? to me the whole Conflict series is original and fun. true, they are not without their faults but the overall game play and story of the games are pretty good. I have been playing Conflict Desert Storm 2 and Conflict Vietnam for a while now to try and see why people dislike the game, and I can not find a big reason. Gamespot said the original Conflict game was a 4.7 out of 10 which I just find stupid. Sure that was the worst of the Conflicts as they were still perfecting the game, but the over all game was great.
So what do you think of this? is the Conflict series bad or good?

Well I must say that Conflict Vietnam was horrible. The characters were cool, yes, but the missions were extremely difficult and some of them were downright impossible. I know they were just trying to make the game more realistic but it failed...but the other Conflicts were great. Desert Storm 2 is a wonderful game and I have finished it multiple times.

I used to own Conflict: Desert Storm 2 and thought it was a really fun and challenging game. I never understood the faults for that game but the other ones were never that good.

I've got all four of them and have always held them in fairly high regard. Sure they're not perfect (and I don't play a huge number of squad-based shooters so can't offer critical comparisons) but C:DS was one of the first PS2 games I ever owned and I still have my copy. Never did get why they got such abysmal reviews (and yeah Vietnam was weaker but it was good fun if you looked past the obvious flaws).
