    Overview

    Cranston Manor is Sierra's Hi-Res Adventure #3. The game is controlled via a simple text parser and the environment is rendered in primitive color line art.

    Arriving in Coarsegold, California, the player explores the town and eventually enters the Cranston manor house. The goal is to retrieve the late Lord Cranston's sixteen treasures which he has hidden on the premises. Somehow -- according to the manual -- obtaining these treasures will economically revive the town, which had been smothered by Cranston's greedy business practices.
