Despite being a big Final Fantasy VII fan(who wasn't when it came out?), I had never played this title since I had sold my psp at this point. Surprised it had never been on PSN up to this point!

You think Squenix would put this up while the FFVII remake hype train is full throttle or do another FF Type Zero HD on PS4 where they'll release Crisis Core HD along with a demo of FFVII remake? The latter sounds more likely based on the money they'd almost definitely make back on it with people just wanted to get their hands on FFVII remake.

I really like Crisis Core but I wonder that with this new remake, they may want to condense the spin off narratives and stories into something more cohesive and tell it along with their muti-part VII remake. They might want to not bring it up again (as my guess is they are going to ret-con a bunch of it). The fact they didn't go back and add this game to a digital PSN version when the VITA launched probably says a lot about how important they think it is.

This was such a great game. I can play it on my PSP but would love to play it on my PS4 on my couch.

The theme during the final fight on this game made it for me. TEARS TO MY EYES!

Otherwise you're not missing much.

Forget Crisis Core let's talk Dirge of Cerberus

I can see it happening at some point, it's not like SE is shy about re-releases. It's a good prequel that sold pretty well and gameplay-wise it's the MGS PW to the console GZ/TPP of FF15/7.

I actually kinda miss Crisis Core. Shame that I can't play it on my Vita.

Crisis Core what a game. That's weird though. It's UMD isn't that hard to come by. I think the whole Nibelheim arc will be covered in the remake, and will even go into more detail/context than Crisis Core if you ask me. Maybe we finally see the actual thing that made Sephiroth snap into insanity.

I think it was all the lies he was told, his father his mind couldn't take it. His ego being even bigger now knowing he's a higher being.

Probably my favorite PSP game. Still waiting for it. That last battle, absolutely heartbreaking.

I KNOW that's a not very good game. But I was young when I played it. So it all balances out in a weird way.

I just wish this was on PSN. Seems like a fairly big oversight given how many other great games are, but at this point I doubt it ever happens with the Vita and PS3 starting to fade.
