Born on February 5th 1985, Cristiano Ronaldo, who plays as a winger, started his career as a professional football player in 2001 when he signed a contract with Sporting CP, having played for their youth club since 1997. In 2003 he was signed by English giant Manchester United where he currently plays.
Cristiano Ronaldo has won numerous individual awards and has been chosen as the PFA Player's Player of the Year, PFA Fan's Player of the Year and the FWA Football of the Year for the past two consecutive seasons. He was also selected as the UEFA Club Football of the Year in 2008.
