The Cross-Save wiki last edited by KamasamaK on 07/29/13 09:12PM View full history

Cross-Save is a cloud saving feature available on certain PlayStation games with both PS3 and Vita releases, enabling the user to easily transfer saves between the two platforms. PlayStation 4 games will also utilize this feature, with Hohokum being the first game announced with plans to support this. The feature relies on the PlayStation Network's Title User Storage function, which limits support to save games of 1 MB or less in size.

The concept was originally promoted by Hideo Kojima as Transfarring, however as that term is a Konami trademark, Sony instead uses its own term as part of the Cross-Buy/Cross-Goods/Cross-Play initiatives.
