Sony's PS3 & Vita feature to take a save from the PS3 game over to the Vita version and continue playing.

Cross-Save is a cloud saving feature available on certain PlayStation games with both PS3 and Vita releases, enabling the user to easily transfer saves between the two platforms. It relies on the PlayStation Network's Title User Storage function, which limits support to save games of 1 MB or less in size.

The concept was originally promoted by Hideo Kojima as Transfarring, however as that term is a Konami trademark, Sony instead uses its own term as part of the Cross Buy/Cross Goods/Cross Play initiatives.
