    Square Enix have confirmed a new DS RPG, Cross Treasures.
       
    The project differs a great deal than most due to the fact it has largely been fueled by S.E and RPG fans in general, by way of gamers feedback and suggestions sent to the studio over several months via Japanese magazine V-Jump, Well now these ideas and suggestions are being brought together in a exciting DS project.

    The official website states characters designs are by Shinya Suzuki and developed by syn Sophia Inc.

      
    - collaboration between Square-Enix and V-Jump
    - and RPG with the concepts of 'play together' and 'connect together'
    - 4 player with customizable characters
    - create/customize game world
    - connect your world to other user-created worlds
    - hunt enemies and collect treasures
    - single player mode included
    - Illustrations by Shinya Suzuki
    - developed alongside ideas that readers of V-Jump have submitted
    - due to release this year in Japan

    That'd be the case if they had SHONEN jump characters, but this just has V-Jump characters. Unfortunately, they are two completely different things

    Another [probably] quality RPG to [almost certainly] not be released outside Japan. Oh well, stuff like this is what my flash cart was made for.

    Square need to spread their love a little more... Aren't they saturating the DS market with all these JRPGs? Some of them, like Blood of Bahamut, already bombed (in Japan), but they keep pumping out more. Oh well, great for DS owners. Some of them are pretty creative and sweet looking.

    That makes what, thirteen billion now?
     I like RPGs and I love the DS, but jesus christ. You'd think the japanese people would do something other than standing around in public transport playing  RPGs on their DS.
