Apparently Jeff is writing his Crysis II review right now. From my spoiled experience watching the infamous "first 20 minutes" on youtube, I would say it is a pretty (maybe below) average game. I don't want to get into details for the sake of not spoiling anything, but I bet it will get 2 or 3 stars. What do you guys think?

Set three years after the original Crysis, an ambushed Marine named Alcatraz dons the famous Nanosuit and fights his way through an obliterated New York City to stop the alien invasion.
What will be Jeff's score for Crysis 2?
@Dany: Very few threads seem to be necessary. This one serves the purpose of speculation... and maybe sooner or later it allows some people to say "I called it".
Between 3 and 4 stars. I really don't follow games up to release because I feel like it ruins the experience of them, so I am not sure all what to expect from this one. All I have really heard is that it runs better, multiplayer is better and that is about it... oh, and New York.... ?
I dunno, I am kind of thinking that there might be something special or different that might bump it up from the 3 to 4 stars, but who knows.
I guessed 3. Although I wasn't necessarily thinking about how Jeff might feel about the game, it just looks incredibly mediocre to me in every way :\
The original Crysis is a pretty unique FPS, Crysis 2 looks like it traded all that in so it can be more like the console shooters that sell well.
I just bought it, but I met with a patch and an install. I guess I'll make a first impressions blog-thingie later.
Edit: I'm guessing it'll be a 3 star game.
Depends on the platform. The PC demo was really really fun, the 360 demo was fucking terrible. The campaign stuff I checked out was pretty solid looking. I dunno, I think it'll get a 3 star, but similar to Homefront, the MP will shine. At least on PC. If the review is based on console stuff, then I dunno. I'm hoping he takes advantage of his new PC though." Apparently Jeff is writing his Crysis II review right now. And for everyone thinking it is generic, it didn't feel generic at all. It was a very very very fast moving, mobile game. Most games are not like that at all. Hell, one of the best strategies in CoD is to just drop to the ground, loosing all mobility but killing your opponent. In this, you have so many options to move in some pretty big ways, and it's definitely unique feeling that way. It's pretty awesome when you leap over cover, scoring a headshot on the guy on the other side, running to the wall and around the corner to spray bullets into the next guy, then crawl into a little duct, turn invisible, and wait for the next poor sap to come along.

" @GenoYou realize the reviews up now right? Lol "
I heard the difficulty is slightly above that of your basic hallway crawl (COD) so probably 3-4 stars as complaints about "janky controls" will inevitably be made.
Just noticed that. Looks like I was wrong about the control thing.
If you want a laugh of a review, instead of a good respectable one, read joystiq. The guy complains about:
- Using suit powers intelligently for the situation is too hard,
- Normal difficulty contains an iota of actual challenge,
- No arrows hovering over everything telling you where to go and who to follow,
- 10 hour campaign is too long.
