I would totally get this if it was ever released. Loved the original as a kid

Descent into Madness: Why One Guy Remade Crash Bandicoot with the Crysis Engine
" Wasn't Crash Bandicoot just a poor mans, Sonic or Mario? "I get really tired of people saying crap like that. Crash and Mario 64 have one thing in common: they are both 3D platformers. THAT IS ALL.
Pretty damned cool. It makes me wish more developers made platformers like this still. It seem just Ratchet & Clank are left from the mid 2000's heyday.
Too cool. I loved this game. It was one of the first Ps1 games I ever got.
I would buy this in a heartbeat if it were actually released.
" @ptys said:I don't mean to piss you off, but he was just Sony's answer to a brand mascot. Seemed they did a good job." Wasn't Crash Bandicoot just a poor mans, Sonic or Mario? Wow that music brings back memories very impressive damn I would love to see someone remake metal gear solid 3 with the cryengine 2.
I have fond memories of the Cortex's Revenge and Warped. I would love to try this out once there's a little less jank.
This makes me want a good crash game...and an even better new Spyro game. As a kid coming from the ps1 to the gamecube I was tricked so easily into spyro: enter the dragonfly...ugh one of the worst gaming experiences as a kid to expect Year of the dragon quality and get that...ugh.
Anyways that'll never happen but here's to hoping new teams will put out good platforming from back in the day??
Why does this feel like a follow-up to Exit Through the Gift Shop? We have this French person with aspirations, and he's given much more attention than is deserved. I enjoyed this article, but I'm a little taken by the attention put into covering this little project. Thank you, Mr. Klepek, for this opportunity to pontificate.
"It's nice to see interesting articles like this now. "
You mean an actual story with interviews that didn't end in "we do not comment on rumours and speculation"? It's nice to read something that isn't just about possible announcement leaks, or is simply a press release rewritten to sound like an article. Kudos to Mr. Klepek for providing something interesting to read on a site that is very much driven by video content
