Ok, so I have an MS-DOS. And I was wondering how I can get Crysis to run it on full specs....
Alright, just kidding. I'm really just trying to figure out how I can run this game in DX9. I've read elsewhere how to do it, but I guess I am personally a bit PC illiterate when it comes to playing games. Kind of :P. Supposedly you have to make a short cut and go into preferences and change the target line to something else. But crap, I don't get it! Can someone help please? Here's a link to what I've read so far, but for some reason when I try it, it doesn't work out so well..

The comment that caught my eye said:
"Try making a shortcut to the 32bit exe and then in the shortcut properties add -DX9 to the target line field.
example: "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Bin32\Crysis.exe" -DX9
with quotes."
But none of this helped me. So can someone at least clarify? I just googled "How to run Crysis in DX9" and this is what I've found, among other things. And running it in the game folder doesn't work at all, so, don't recommend it ha ha. Alright, thank you. Oh! And yes, I've beaten Crysis many times, but I still want the best experience when I play.
