    I might get this when it's cheaper. Someone spoiled the conclusion for me when the anime was running, so I imagine a lot of the suspense won't be there.

    Honestly, the ending is pretty bad and the whole story kind of falls apart toward the end when the narrative stops obeying its own rules. Knowing how it wraps up probably doesn't spoil the game.

    The trial minigames are pretty poorly explained and executed. It's fairly easy to figure out the killer before the beginning of each trial, but there are usually some entertaining twists in each case.

    A problematic game to be sure, but also one of my absolute favorites this year. Pre-ordered the collector's edition of the sequel from NIS's website the day that it became available. Cannot wait.
