    The 9 Circles of Hell

Dante's Inferno is a game by the same guys who made dead space. I think they should have really stuck to making survival horror games. The game has a lot of problems. If your going to make a God of War clone you need to have a really good combo system. So here goes my review.

Game play- The combo system isn't very good. You have two skill tree's Holy and Unholy. So in the holy tree you beat the shit outta demon baddies with a cross that throws holy light at them. Most of the Holy tree you have to charge your attacks which sucks cause you have to break you combo's. The Unholy tree you can string together attacks a bit easy cause you use your sythe to cut the demon souls to pieces. But the major problem with the combo system is you have to stop your combos on the weaker enemies to grab them and absolve or punish them. This give's you points for you skill tree's so you can get move advanced useless combo's. You do this through the entire game and it gets so annoying when you fight you hate seeing the weak enemies they are like a plague. Occasionally you'll run into random people soul's from history that you have to absolve or punish. If you absolve them you have a mini game where you have to block I guess their sins. This gets really annoying. So game play I'd give it a 2 of 5.

Graphics- The graphics looks ok its nothing to brag about. Every circle of hell is supposed to look different which the first 3 or 4 did after that they all run together. The game goes for the whole shock value a lot of topless women and dead babies. There was one enemy that shot a giant spike out of her vagina which was kinda dumb to me. But what do I know I've just been playing games since I was a kid. 3 of 5

Story- Now here is where the game really lost me. The game is supposed to be based off dante's divine comedy. Well I don't remember to much of the poem but from what I do remember. Was Dante was a man who would almost piss him self at every circle. But in this game Dante may as well been a super hero. Dante is going after his wife whose vaginal cavity holds the key between heaven and hell. She's supposed to be a virgin but yet the entire game she's topless figure that one out. So Dante the super human demon slayer is going through chopping demon's to ash. With every circle the devil is teasing you telling you that he is going to diddle your wife. I'd give the story a 2 of 5.

Overall- The game suffers from being ok with a bad story, lack of combo system, and graphics that you could find in any other game. I'd say rent this game if you wanna play a really bad God of War rip off. I don't really recommend this game at all. Over all I would have to give this game a 2.5 of 5.

      Dante's Inferno Video Review 0

A much bigger shadow looms over what could have been a great game if it wasn’t for some frustrating moments and an anticlimactic ending. It is hard to take Dante's Inferno as a new IP as right from the beginning Visceral Games have spoken about the inspiration that they took from the God of War series, and man does it show. The main protagonist, Dante, has the same red that when he swings his Scythe blend into his figure making him look like another Greek god that has red paint on his body. How...

First and foremost, if you are an avid fan of The Divine Comedy, you are going to hate what EA has done to their Dante’s Inferno game. It is as blistered and altered and transformed from the original poem as you feared. I’ve joked before about video gamizing in the past, but Dante’s Inferno really raises the bar to downright sacrilegious levels. But if you avoid taking personal offense to how Dante’s Inferno butchers the legendary work that is The Divine Comedy (and for that matter, the legenda...
