I just got a mail from amazon that DS2 for PC has been pushed back about a week. Is that a thing? Or did I just get unlucky with amazon?

Just checked steam ... seems like I just got unlucky, steam still lists it for next week.

AFAIK, this only affects the boxed copy of the game in the UK. At least, that's what Reddit claims:

UPDATE: Looks to only affect PHYSICAL BOXES COPIES IN THE UK "This is only affecting the UK on the boxed release of the game," Namco told the site. "It will be delayed unfortunately and we apologise to UK customers. This is due to a manufacturing issue with packaging. To confirm this will only affect the UK boxed launch." Looks like we all dodged a bullet, lol, sorry to the UK guys that still believe in physical copies

Yeah ... even though I am german I usually order my games at amazon.uk ... too bad :/ ... I guess I can wait another week or so.

Hell yeah, something on Steam being unlocked EARLY!? They normally wait till 1pm Eastern on launch day for most games. Can't wait to play the PC version, although I will feel kinda bad about leaving my PS3 character stuck forever in Drangleic Castle with the Looking Glass Knight. :(

While that is true, 6am EDT and 3am PDT are quite different from 6pm EDT and 3pm PDT.

I bought a steam key from a much cheaper site once I'd learned of the delay. A shame.
