So like Rorie said during one of the LOLS episode, I pretty much have faith that this game will be a great successor to Dark Souls, but there is one thing that stands out to me as important. I don't know much about the beta but I assume there was at least one boss encounter?

No way! I hope the localization team keeps it and embraces the japaneseness of it. Much better than Victory Achieved or whatever it was on the PC version!

I wouldn't mind something different, but only if it was appropriately goofy.

Man, they should totally just have a bunch of goofy sounding phrases and randomize them. That would be fantastic.

C'mon, "HAIL DESTROYER" sounds far to confidence building for Dark Souls. As a Brit, I'd love if it just went "Off you pop".

In DS1 on the PC you can mod what it says (you can replace 'You died' and the names of the zones as well), which can be pretty funny. Here's hoping that the second one will be mod friendly, too. But as somejerk posted, for now it is 'Victory Achieved'.

I saw a mod that replaced 'You Died' with 'Thanks Obama'. That was good times right there.

It gets so much better..

NDA etc, FROM don't care etc, will remove shots if mods say otherwise etc, HDMI Captures from my PS3 etc..

I just quickly checked my old recordings from two weeks ago when I died at the boss.
