Apparently there is a glitch that resets yiur female character to the default male character after using the Soul Vessel (the item that resets your stat points).

I just got the Soul Vessel last night talked to the witches about it, but didn't use it, and today I noticed that my character is missing his beard and looks different (I didn't stray too far from the default male to begin with). Has anyone run into this issue by just talking to the witches about it?

If you're hollowed you lose your beard.

Also, did you get into the coffin in the starting area (behind the cyclops)? That changes your gender.
