Yeah all 1000/1000 points
That's pretty much it.
PRAISE THE SUN!!!!!
Game » consists of 14 releases. Released Sep 22, 2011
That is some serious dedication to Dark Souls. Grats, must not of been easy. Which achievement did you find most difficult?
Excellent work! While working on S-Typing that game, I made the mistake of erasing my character when trying to effectively take advantage of Microsoft's cloud services. Although, I didn't really mind the loss of those 100 hours because of how fun the game actually is and how much faster I got to the same point once I knew how to run around the game world properly. Honestly though, excellent work. By the third time, Smough and Ornstein are totally overrated, amirite?

You've only S ranked it until they release the PC stuff as DLC for consoles.
That hasn't been confirmed or even hinted at by the developers. I wish it was true, but I'm not expecting much. I would love to kick Artorias' ass.
As for the S-rank, good job! I hope to accomplish the same by the end of the year...if awesome games would stop coming out left and right for me to continually play.
I started another build on the weekend and destroyed that game up until Sens Fortress, the point that always crushes my spirits when I get to the very top and get knocked off by those swinging blades. When you know the world layout and enemy patterns the game isn't very hard at all.
Good work to you sir. I'm too lazy to try and get an S-rank, a couple tedious achievements in there I cbf doing. Also I find it hard to care about chevo points anymore. The last game I S ranked was Skyrim because I spent so many hours playing the game the s rank was just a neat side affect.

I would say all the rare weapons was just for the fact it was the very last one I got.
You have to get all the souls weapons(some bosses have more then one weapon), then all the tail weapons(Seath the Scaleless is the hardest), & all the rare drop weapons.
@Tophat666: Congrats, You joined the others that have completed that great game! (I'm on the PS3, S-ranked that game a while ago)
@mosespippy: I'm going to have to agree with jakob187 on the DLC part since, they have not hinted anything at all regarding that.
I plan on getting this game on PC anyway so (I hope it goes through STEAM) more awesomesauce. <(^^)7
Does this game have achievements that require you to go online? I'm kinda interested in getting it but the idea of being locked out of achievements because they might eventually take the server offline like Demon's Souls might drive me away.
WOW!!! :O just making all those weapons is one of the impossible feats for me given the limited time I got for recreation these days. :o
@Breadfan: All right, thanks. I looked up the achievements but without having played the game they weren't especially helpful.
haha yeah I feel ya, I haven't even reached the second bell tower; and I bought the game on launch day!
I got everything except for the one for killing Priscilla and getting all the rare weapons (which is the really though one). By the time I started cleaning out achievements I had almost finished the game with 5 different characters so I wasn't really up for playing any more of it.
@ShadowConqueror: There are some achievements that require you to level up in Covenants (things you join that give you certain benefits and rewards) to get certain items, and to level up you need items that are usually obtained through co-op or PvP when participating in those covenants, however all these items can be obtained in other ways without going online.
Some examples: Eye of Death to level up the Gravelord Covenant can be farmed from Basilisks, pretty good drop rate too. Souvenir of Reprisal for Darkmoon Blade can be farmed from Harpies with a low droprate. Sunlight Medals for Warrior of Sunlight are probably the hardest to come by, they can be looted in a few places, traded for, once, and obtained if you summon the NPC Solaire to assist you in bossfights and he survives to the end.
Either way it's all very possible, with a guide, if very time consuming.
@RockmanBionics: As long as it's possible to do everything offline that's fine with me. If I were to get the game I'd probably just go the online route, but it's good to know I wouldn't be locked out of achievements providing some unfortunate incident renders me incapable of completing them before the servers are taken offline (assuming that will even happen).
I rented this for the PS3 on launch week. Couldn't find the first shield and gave up. Good job on getting much further than I.
@Ghost249: @jakob187: I thought I heard somewhere (Weekend Confirmed maybe?) that the amount of work done on the extra content would have cost From Software so much to make that not releasing it on console would result in a loss. Also, they wouldn't talk about putting PC content on consoles until after the PC release. They would hurt PC sales if they did.
@Tophat666: yeah yeah, start playing the witcher 2 already, 45G? pathetic, you wasted your time on S ranking a shitty game like Dark Souls when you could have been playing witcher 2? Besides what the fuck, play witcher 2 on PC. LOL I'M KIDDING man, never played the souls' games, heard it's insane, congratulations! :)
@ShadowConqueror: Dark Souls' network code is designed to be peer to peer, not server based like Demon's Souls. So as long as you can sign into PSN or XBox Live you'll be able to play online, assuming there are still other people to play with in your level range.
So you've S-ranked Dark Souls but only have 45 points in The Witcher 2? Restart that shit on Insanity.
