Yes I know people chances are got this on PS3 because of demon souls (Please do not point that out as a reason) But ever since I left the first black smith I have not seen any orange signs. I am right now in Anor Londo. I have not seen any ghosts in ages. No white signs. Nothing at all. Is there just no one playing? Did I miss the big rush of people? 

@The_Laughing_Man: Were you in Party Chat? As it turns off online mode for that. Otherwise sounds like it hadn't connected properly.

I hear ya, they've been getting way more rare ever since the depths for me.
Some at the start of Anor Londo but one day later, wherever I go, I don't see any orange signs nor find summon spots or get summoned.

I am fully online. Maybe Im just in a empty lobby? Saw the first Gargoyal. No signs at all..nothing I am human. This is kinda crappy.

I really don't know what to say. I was at the launch and there were lots of Xbox guys there. It could be server issues. I really don;t know what else it would be. Try their forum at the dark souls site.. if they have one. Maybe there is something on an issue there.

There are often NPCs that you can summon in certain places.

Well, keep in mind there is that patch coming that's supposed to fix matchmaking. During the first week on PS3, the game was pretty dead for me. I'm sure people are playing it, it's just the broke ass way the servers are set up.

I think something is wrong on the technical level, messages that I saw almost every time suddenly weren't there anymore.. I mean, there are less people on the 360, but you should still see a ton of messages everywhere. Yesterday I went afk in front of a fog wall when there weren't any summon signs, came back and there were 3.

@The_Laughing_Man:  What SL are you? And what area? I'm quite sure any area can be soloed, but I won't promise you your sanity. I nearly lost mine against the Ceaseless Discharge earlier (I don't glitch or trick, straight fight bitches!).

I saw quite a few summon signs up to the Gaping Dragon, but they died off after that. I also only got invaded once during my play, and that was at the last area. I never took the time to wait around for a summon so I can't comment on that.

At the top of blight tonight. NONE from firelink to this point. Somthing has to be wrong. I mean..its like everyone abonded the game. Seeing if I can invade a world in Blight town.... Doesnt look like it.

@The_Laughing_Man: Check your network type and stuff? NAT and what not? Tried rebooting, perhaps you are indeed in an empty server. I honestly don't know.

I doubt it would be an empty server problem. From what i understand this game uses a form of Peer to Peer. It could very well be a router or home internet issues. Did anyone go check the dark souls site for a forum? See if anyone else is having that problem on Xbox. That is how I normally find out why my games are being stupid.

been playing the 360 version, i've seen lots of signs when i was playing at around soul level 100ish... though i finished the game the past weekend haven't touched it since.   Dunno if it's region specific when choosing lobbies, but i play on the west coast.

I've been on my NG+ character for about 2 and a half hours and haven't seen any summon signs. Been human the whole time and have probably killed about 5 bosses now. Didn't have a problem finding people the first time around even if my SL was high for most areas.

I can't imagine the community drying up that fast. I have a friend still playing Demon's Souls and he finds people are still playing too. The games have ridiculous longevity.

Perhaps you need to check up on your NAT?

This happened to me in the Depths once, didn't get any signs or even the statues of cursed people.

I quit the game and loaded up my save a few times, and that fixed it. Probably a server connection issue.

I've actually been surprised at how thriving the 360 community has been. I've summoned someone with little issue for just about every boss and got invaded within duke's archives alone about 5-6 times. Got summoned a whole bunch for the Seath boss fight also.

I play on 360 and haven't had this problem. Just recently was summoned into someones world (I'm level 60 in Anor Londo).

I see ghosts and messages and get summons to invade frequently as well.

Yup, last time i noticed that I couldn't summon anyone to help me out with certain bosses. I was standing before the entrance to quelaag for like 40 minutes and nothing. I had to beat her all by myself. I hope that the comming patch will fix it and i will be able to play online with other people.
