Watched a whole bunch of Load Our Last Souls recently, which got my on the hype train as well. Don't want to pay 22 bucks though.

Found it for 12 bucks on G2A, but that site is sketchy...

G2A is one of the more reputable resellers, but I think I recall them running into issues with Ubisoft.

If you want to buy directly from Steam, you could wait around 2 months for the Steam Summer Sale. That'll probably be the cheapest it'll get on PC.

I wouldn't call G2A reputable at all. I used them on occasion knowing the risks, then got sold a duplicate key.

Because I didn't use their 'insurance' I was waiting over a month for a refund, for which I had to get Paypal on the case. Wouldn't trust them with a ten foot poll.

According to Isthereanydeal.com (which doesn't deal with the grey-area stores), Games Planet are the cheapest right now with a 75% reduction. They are a reputable site.

It's always on sale during the steam sale events. If you can wait til summer it'll be $5.

On the topic of grey markets: I trust CDKeys more than G2A. I bought five games with them for Uplay, Origin and Steam over the past two months and I haven't had any issues with them. ...But, they're not selling Dark Souls 1 keys, so, whatever I guess.

So, in addition to Steam sales, keep an eye on HumbleBundle's main store and GameStop's online store as well. They put PC stuff on sale pretty often, so Dark Souls 1 is bound to be a part of their sale rotations.

Gamesplanet is 75% off right now and that site is totally fine.

Only issue was locking it to 30 fps, but it's how the game was built and anything else just breaks it but IMO it's worth 20$ still. But i'm sure it'll be on sale at some point for like 7bux or something.

I used DSFix and one of the options was to change the fps to 60, which worked just fine for me.
