It looks like TANG has a bright future ahead of it: 
 Brad Pitt’s production company Plan B Entertainment, under its Creative Partnership with Reliance BIG Entertainment, and Capcom®, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, have come to terms on the film rights relating to Dark Void™, a new property from Capcom. The theatrical version of the Dark Void game is being developed as a sci-fi action franchise and potential starring vehicle for Pitt.  
 
In my opinion, it seems a little early for a film deal, I mean, what if the game flops? Still you can read the article here.
I'm definitely more interested now that this has been announced, so I may purchase Dark Void. That, and jet packs are cool!
Too early to say whether or not this is going to make for a successful film, or even a successful game, but I'm trying to be optimistic on it. Hopefully it won't do as poorly as Bionic Commando, of which I thought the premise of the game could have made for a decent film, but that's probably not going to happen.

Well, I didn't really care for Brad Pitt until I saw Inglorious Bastards, I'm kinda interested in how this turns out. I'm not suggesting it's going to be good, but I'll probably watch it anyway. It does plan a bit ambitious to be planning a film on around a game that hasn't even come out yet, though. Who knows, it'll probably end up in the same place as the Bioshock movie.
