Dark Void looks to bring about a bit more of the "High Adventure" pulp style stories that I love so very much. I think that these stories can translate exceptionally well into games. Whether it's Crimson Skies or Uncharted, or even on occasion Tomb Raider, these games often end up being a total riot to play. They are also, unfortunately, often marred by shoddy or short game play. The aforementioned titles are some of the few exceptions.  I do hope that in the future they can find a larger audience than in the past. Crimson Skies was an amazing game, but sold like garbage. I can only hope that with as much exposure as it seems to be getting, Dark Void doesn't suffer the same fate. Here's to more in-game stylish heroes, villainous vixens, jungles, ridiculous airplanes, swashbuckling adventure and, of course, jet packs.

I still prefer the game's original title, "The Rocketeer Versus the Mechrobot-Reptoid Space-liance".
