The way they try to justify Nikola Tesla's existence in the Void is disgraceful. So he was missing a few days before he died? And 3 days in our world could mean 20 years in the Void. I wonder why his character doesn't look 106 then. Because he was 86 when he died.

Ive heard a lot worse justification for things in videogames.
Also, featuring Tesla in this game is so awesome, Im more than willing to let it slide.

Nikola Tesla almost feels like a last-minute implement to the game.
CapCom is obviously inspired by Assasins Creed II, where Da Vinci pretty much performs the same role as Tesla in Dark Void.
As cool as it is, i truly hope this isn't going to be a trend.
Otherwise it might lose it's touch.

@GunnBjorn: Actually, I'm pretty sure Tesla's presence in Dark Void was revealed before Da Vinci's presence in Assassin's Creed II. I could be wrong tough.

If so, then my comment is the ranting of a complete ignoramus.
Damn, i'm so busy lately, i don't have time anymore to follow the game industry in minute detail.

I played the game two weeks ago at EuroGamer's London Expo. The fact is I came away unimpressed by it, I found the controls very awkward, they just felt clumsy, but then maybe that was because the demo was an old build of the game. The vertical combat felt good though, you do get that cool sinking feeling when hanging onto stuff, the forced perspective in the graphics adds to that feeling. It can be disorientating but I think It's cool and added to the experience, which felt new.

@Linkyshinks: That doesn't sound good. Controls are vital to games like this, so if they aren't good...

Lol. A lot of that looked like something you'd see in Mass Effect.

The final build is probably a lot better, the guy did say it was an early build. Also, It's all too easy to be overly critical when you only have 15 mins to get accustomed to it's controls.
