    On June 25th, Aventurine posted a statement assuring the launch of an North American server on July 7th, following a "massive free expansion" that first week of July. To play on the NA servers you must buy a new American game client (due to international publishing rights, etc.). Three months after NA launch, players will be able to clone and move their characters from the EU server for a fee (NA players will not need to purchase an American game client to do so).

    I friend told me about that.  I really haven't heard good stuff about the game.  Eurogamer gave it a 2 out of 10.

    The game has its ups and downs, that's for certain, and hopefully the expansion will do a lot to make it a more positive experience. That being said, the review on Eurogamer is rather questionable: the devs couldn't find more than 2 hours of game time played on the accounts given to Eurogamer (although the reviewer supposedly used a friend's copy to play more), and more importantly, he decried just about every game mechanic that the players have come to the game for as negatives, so if anything it shows that Darkfall is not for everyone.
