    The day after MMORPG.com sat down with Aventurine's Tasos Flambouras in an interview the devs released their official statement for european release on January 22nd of 2009.


    And don't worry if you're not a Euro, they also mention that the servers will be available to anyone (probably by download).

    In an ironic set of events, Aventurine has officially postponed Darkfall release until February 25th because "the demand exceeds our current capacity". The company has done no advertising for their game, the massive hype resulting from word-of-internet community discussion.

    BUT NONE TO WORRY, they are allowing thousands of players to sample the game in a free trial starting on the previous release date of January 22nd. Moreover, Aventurine is planning on implementing pre-orders to prioritize who (of the 200,000 beta applicants) will be allowed in the free trial as well as get some measure of the real demand for the game.

    It's somewhat disappointing, but also reassuring that the developers aren't ignorant of the hype forming around their game.
