Most of the attention to the Sony issue has been focused on the Playstation Network.  But surely there must be some people here who, at any time, had an active subscription with one of the SOE games.  I realize that Patrick did a thread on Sony's welcome back, but it didn't seem to have a whole lot to it, basically just said SOE has a welcome back package too, go look at the link.  Well I just found out last night and wanted to pass on to others that SOE's welcome back package doesn't just apply to people who had an active account when SOE went down.  It applies to anyone who's ever had an active account with any of these games below.  If you, at any time, had an active account, if you log in before August 31st, you can claim 45 days of free game time.  You don't have to do anything but log into those games (they will force you to reset your password first).  In addition, most of these games are also doing ingame events and giving away ingame items and/or Station Cash.  See below the games list for the list of what's going on in what games.

Players can reactivate their accounts on these games, in addition to the ones in the table below.

I can confirm that I tried this myself on my old EQ2 account and my husband tried it with his old Planetside account last night.  We were both able to log right in (after resetting passwords).

I thought that EQ2 was taken offline ages ago.
