    Daytona USA 2 is the arcade sequel to 1994's Daytona USA. Two versions were released; Daytona USA 2: Battle on the Edge in May 1998 and Daytona USA 2: Power Edition in December 1998.

    Differences between versions

    The most recognizable difference between Battle on the Edge and Power Edition is that the oval course (i.e beginner course) has been reskinned in Power Edition to take place outdoors and resembles a real life oval course. In Battle on the Edge, the oval course took place inside a greenhouse.

    The other major difference in Power Edition is the addition of a 4th course, which is actually just the first 3 course connected together in a point-A-to-point-B race with no laps.
