Is there no online tag co-op like doa4?

ive been sitting here for the last 5 mins trying to figure out how to tag up with a friend over xbl to play tag like in doa4. seems to be no option and one asnwer for if its even in this game online. i heard it has local tag which you can take online but nothing about tagging up with friends over xbox live?
