Does the PS3 version have any noticeable problems?

I'm always afraid getting multi-platform games because it seems sometimes one console gets shafted. So my question is are there any noticeable differences between the 360 and PS3, I know the PC version is probably the best but I don't have a good rig.

I have the PS3 version and I didn´t experience any problems.
But I heard that the X360 version looks a bit better.

Graphics are better on the 360. Saw an extensive breakdown somewhere but for the life of me can't find it right now.

Are you saying that by experience or are you just saying that cuz you've seen it on some website. I've been playing for a few days and have not had any noticeable screen tearing problem.

I see screen-tearing constantly on the PS3 version. It's not game breaking for me, but it is certainly noticeable.

Same here I haven't really experienced any screen tearing. I have heard that DR2 is one of the few multiplatform games that actually not only looks better but also runs a little better on the PS3.

Just check out the graphics comparison I posted earlier.

I played through the whole game without any problems, my longest play time in one sitting was surely 3-4hours and I had no problems.

A really bad framerate drop when I shot a blambow arrow at a big group of zombies. I wouldn't doubt it if it does that in other versions, though.

@RE_Player92:  At the end of the day it comes down to personal preference. I'll list some key differences between the 360 and PS3 version.

Native Resolution: Arguably the biggest deciding factor is that the game runs at 720p on 360 and 576p on PS3.
Texture Res: It's higher on 360.
Graphical Effects: There are some notable missing effects on PS3 which can be seen in the PS3 vs 360 DR2 comparison video linked from gametrailers a few posts earlier. These missing effects make the lower res textures stick out more.
Frame Rate: The frame rate on 360 is near constant 30fps but the PS3 version goes well below 20 on more then a few cases.

That's just a few points but if you are interested in seeing the full break down check out the digital foundry article on the differences between the two versions.

Not if you don't own an XBox 360 (which I don't, so I have nothing to compare it to). Ignorance is bliss :)  Although I do have pretty fast PC, there's quite a notable difference. :P

Played both the PS3 and Xbox360 version all the way through (I fucking love this game.)

Xbox360 version ran fine, just framerate issues here and there.

The PS3 version runs smoother, but there's screen tearing, and for some reason textures don't load or something and flash pink at random times for some reason. Probably a bad install :/
