Just play the game, whilst avoiding the psychopaths. Seriously, you get PP for virtually everything. Survivors are definitely the quickest way to get up the ranks.

If you have a lot of money (~1 million) you can use the fortune teller in Silver Strip.

play through 1 - forget the story, rescue some survivors and have fun. The most important thing to do is to familiarize yourself with the  weapon combinations and the map. But pass the past where you can actually combine weapons before abandoning the story.  When you are ready or when you die, restart the game.  You should reach at least level 10 by this point.

play through 2-  Rescue survivors but avoid the psychos.  You should reach level 15

play through 3- Rescue survivors and kill psychos. They should be fairly easy if you read the faqs and use the knife gloves. When you reach a harder boss and die, restart again.

play through 4- You should be pretty much invincible at this point.

This was how I played it anyway :P

Check out my tips and tricks thread at the top of the forum. There are some PP strategies in there. It's very inefficient though to grind for your PP, and then play through the game getting PP but it no longer does anything because you wasted all that time grinding. Just playing the game gets you enough PP.

Defiler.  Especially after you have the card.  Make a defiler, head to doors, spin around.  Gain 10-15,000 per Defiler.

For me it's been survivors. They aren't nearly as much of a chore as they were in the first game, and unless they're crippled, all you have to do really is just make sure they're with you at the loading screen before you go to a new part of the mall.

I suggest just playing the story. You'll succeed on most, and fail on others, but you'll get PP without having to grind.

After you hit the PP cap you get no reward for doing any of the sidequests, which takes out a lot of the incentive to do them. It's not going to be as fun.

what you can do is: ( this is what i did )
just play the game normally until you finish case 1, then during the time off before the next case starts

in that timeoff do the survivor quests you get ( the drunk lady in the casino, the 2 ppl trashing the casino, the old lady in the toy store, the 2 old guys in the knife store and maybe a few others ) cause they are easy

and destroy some zombies in the same time , then just restart and do it again, did it just once and i am lvl 11 already

Step 1. Get all the combat books.
    Step 2. Get knife gloves.
Step 3. Go to town on zombies.
    Step 4. Repeat.

I was level 25 before I got the card, but it was great even before that.

Pick up the Rescue book in the security office for a lot of extra PP.

My first playthrough, I skipped the story stuff, and tried to do everything else.
By the time the military arrived, I was at level 30.

I played through the game normally from level 5 and had no problem getting through to The Facts and then beating Overtime, I ended up at about 32-ish I think.

After my second playthrough was just rescuing people to get Hero of Fortune City and killing all the Psychopaths I couldn't get the first time and I got to about level 48.

Then I started a new game and just did some of the "Kill a bunch of Zombies in different ways" achievements out on the strip and got to 50 rather quickly.

In other words just play the fucking game.

But if you want to cheat it either buy one of the cars or beat Leon in Meet the Contestants and use his trailer to build a Sliceycle. You get a lot of PP from certain Combo weapons, but it will never be as fast as getting a few Horror magazines and the Driving mag and just fucking up thousands of zombies.

Dyna-Meat is pretty damn good but I don't know if it's worth farming for (Dynamite + Hunk of Meat).  Same goes for IED (Propane +Nails) but that also requires you to carry a handgun around, and spend a fair bit of time "rounding up" zombies.  Otherwise I'd just say survivors and psychopaths really.

Get a vehicle like the Slice=cycle and kill kill kill.
Forget about the story, forget Katey.. just kill.
Every 50 zombies gives you 500pp, every 1000 gets you 20000pp
Using slice-cycle gets you 50pp per kill I think.

    50pp x 50kills + 500pp bonus = something good for 30 seconds work

Really, survivors are the best way. Zombies give you about 50PP, the very best combo weapon gives you about 2,500PP per kill (per special attack) but if you do a run and get about 8 survivors on the 3rd day (the PP they offer goes up as the time progresses) you'll be getting about 40,000PP each, for a total of 720,000PP. There's a magazine somewhere that gives you +10% PP for saving female survivors which can also help with this. Killing zombies should also be done, en route to saving survivors, but shouldn't be the thing you do for PP.
