While browsing the Steam Store, I became curious as to how much Dead Space 2 was on there now. At time of writing it's £19.99 (I live in the UK). That's not bad, but after doing my usual price searches using http://www.find-game.co.uk/. I plumped for a copy from play.com for £12.99. Aside from being cheaper than Steam (at least for the moment) it was unclear to me whether the freely downloadable 1.1 patch (which includes some weapons and/or equipment for Isaac as well as some bug fixes) is included in steam's updating of the game. I downloaded the patch from here. Are you happy to just buy all your games from Steam or do you like to shop around for the best deal regardless of disc or download?
