Excellent shooter with great supporting features

Dead Space took what RE4 did with the over-the-shoulder view and ran with it.  Dead Space controls much like RE5 did with the over-the-shoulder camera angle and point of view.  That is really where the similarities end however.  The story is pretty good and the gameplay is pretty great as well.  The focus on taking out enemies limbs instead of just pumping ammo into their body as a whole is very refreshing.  It encourages specific aiming rather than spraying.  The use of Power Cells to level up your armor and weapons is great.  It really makes the game feel a little personalized to you.  You are allowed to pick specific guns you like to use best.  The replay value on this game seems to be pretty great.  If you are a trophy collector you will enjoy getting all of your guns and upgrades back if you start a New Game+.  You can then use this file to continue collecting any trophies you missed during your first playthrough of the game.
