So what does this actually unlock in Dead Space 2? 
I tried registering the game on my account but havent gotten anything yet.

You get a refurbished plasma cutter if you played dead space 1.  It's the same stat wise as the plasma cutter you get in the game just it looks like the one from the first game.

Apparently you get the Riot Suit but iv yet to see how to get it.

You're asked to register the game to your EA account to unlock it but I have no idea on how to log into your EA account in Dead Space 2.

The Riot Suit?  I got the Riot Security Suit without having to register anything. 
 
Not like it matters, because you'll never use anything besides the Elite Engineering Suit anyways.

I think some dude on Rebel FM said you get 2 power nodes from this game.  Can't say for sure since I haven't played this game.

@rjayb89: You get 2 power nodes in Dead Space for iOS and some other reward in Dead Space 2. 
 
As for "registering" Dead Space 2, you need to have your gamertag linked to your EA account on

This is ridiculous.  It's like nobody knows what you get for registering it.  Here's a picture that proves that you get one power node, and whatever that special item is remains a mystery.

Yeah, I sent off an e-mail to EA support a couple of days ago about this, hopefully I'll get a useful response.

i can't figure out how to link my EA account to my XBL account...
 
EA sucks ass sometimes.
 
the iPhone game is pretty fun though, and Dead Space 2 is awesome.

@rjayb89:  Yeah, we all know how to do that. The problem is linking Dead Space 2 to your EA account to get the stuff. No one knows how to do that.

So. I got no word within DS2 about DS-iOS unlocks. So that is strange. 
 
Linking your DS2 with EA is simple I guess. Go to the website and link your PSN/XBL (or both) account to your EA-account. I actually have a ton of subaccounts (Battlefield) aggregated on ea.com.

"Q: How do I redeem the extras I was awarded for Dead Space iPhone/iPad in Dead Space 2 for PC/Xbox 360/PS3?

A: After signing on & registering Dead Space on your iPhone/iPad, please sign on to your EA account within Dead Space 2 on your PC/Xbox 360/PS3. Go to the in-game store, and you should see that you have an additional 1,000 credits in the store.
