    I'm just wondering if it is possible to either run the NTSC version on an european xbox, or if there exists PAL-copies of the game to buy. I haven't been able to find any though...
    Any shoptips are appreciated!

    Nope. I've got me a copy myself that I can't run on my PAL 360 =(. Don't make the same mistake I did....especially now after me telling you this...Helping other EURO gamers not repeat my own naive actions is all this bleedin thing is good for over here.

    The game has yet to be released in PAL format. The NTSC version of the Xbox 360 game will not work on European consoles. The only option we have at the moment, is to import the Japanese PS3 release which goes by the name of "Red Seeds Profile".

    Do the same thing I did.
     
    Just stop buying PAL games, I've long since made the switch to simply importing all my games and consoles.
     
    Cheaper, faster and  you can enjoy the same benefits as the US gets.

    @Cerogravian:  No, the game won't work on a PAL console, since it's region-lecked (GRRR!!!)
     
    And you can't buy a PAL version 'cause Rising Star Games haven't released it yet, and we don't know if they'll ever do.
    Anyways, you can always go to Rising Star Games boards ( http://www.risingstargames.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=62&start=280), and post asking for a PAL Deadly Premonition, as many others have done before!!

    But does the Japanese PS3 game have the English track? I doubt it. So I guess the Europeans are kinda screwed, until a European release. Which I would imagine is quite possible.

    Wow, thank you all for the kind of surprising amount of replies!
    It is a sad state of affairs, but hopefully they will do something about it.
    @jos4: Great propaganda, and thanks for the link, I will get over there and shout!
     
    @mutha3: I have been considering this, though I can barely afford to buy games at all nowadays it seems. Hopefully I will expand my options soon, I will probably target the Japanese market, I feel fairly confident that I could keep up with a short warm-up period.
     
    @cap123:  My avatar is the cover art of the Electric Six album "I Shall Exterminate Everything Around Me That Restricts Me From Being The Master", which obviously is one of the best titles I have ever heard at least.
