ya its not that long of a game and it may be like 8 or 8 quick looks kinda like the star trek looks. but it will be hella funny. and i wonder who will do it or maybe they all will do it.

The game is ripe for commentary and satire, so, yeah, I'd love an ER.

Given that this game is supposed to be "bad", then the word "Endurance" would definitely be the correct way to label any extended look at the game. 
 
How long can Jeff and Vinny last while playing Deadly Premonition?  Will they make it through the whole thing?  Stay tuned and find out!

Either way, I really wouldn't mind seeing a bad game in action at the hands of two crude dudes, or more even.

I've also heard that the game is anywhere between 20 and 40 hours. Apparently, there are tons of sidequests if you're willing to go out and explore the town a bit.

only problem is this game drowns out its voiceacting with music already, and they usually have the game volume really low in the quicklooks... so will we be able to hear the magical voiceacting?

There needs to be another ER! Persona 5 won't be out for awhile!

I'd say an extended look. Maybe two or three. Then they get angry and throw stuff. If It's going to be endurance run, it has to be an epic epic game.

Definitely a Quick Look, a nice, long Quick Look.

As far as I know there is no funky student in this game, so Quick Look pl0x.

Deadly Premonition is published by Ignition Entertainment.  Perhaps friend of Giantbomb and employee of Ignition (clue: Blane Shettenhausen)  had some influence on the decision to ER.  Perhaps its simply a legality go-ahead.  Perhaps it has nothing to do with it at all.

an Endurance Run would be fun, but I fear the lengthy drives between places could kill the mood some..

Why in the world would they do an Endurance Run of a niche game with limited mass market appeal with a lot of heart and oh wait

No one else so will play this game, so the Giant Bomb crew must do an Endurance  Run. They play it, so we don't have to.

I would not want to see an endurance run of  a poorly reviewed game. I am quite satisfied with an extended quick look. Although when you think about it, "Endurance Run" means they play the game until they just can't take it anymore so....

The problem I have with an Endurance Run is that seeing most of the humor will involve the player just saying, "Fuck it, instead of going through the main storyline, I'm just going to drive around." Even then, certain quests have numerous prerequisites that are hard to fulfill unless they really go out of their way to complete them.

Endurance Run, it's needed and a shorter game would not be too much of a hog for the staff now, 100hours of Person 4 pretty was pretty much the "concorde" moment, i doubt we'll see an ER like it again. 

Having just read the Destructoid review, I want a Endurance Run of this game so badly.
