Since the fine folks at Giant Bomb have not only given us a new Endurance Run but two whole new ones, we now find ourselves in a dilly of a pickle; what one to watch first? So i was curious to know how everyone plans to watch the new ER. Will you watch Jeff and Vinny then Brad and Ryan? Only watch one of them to completion then watch the other one once they beat the game? Something else all together?
For me, i plan to watch the Jeff and Vinny one first then the Brad and Ryan one immediately after. I just hope they make both every day and don't do a Jeff and Vinny today, Brad and Ryan tomorrow, then Jeff and Vinny again etc. but keep releasing two videos a day.
Deadly Premonition
Game » consists of 11 releases. Released Feb 23, 2010
An open-world action-adventure game following an eccentric FBI agent as he investigates a series of bizarre murders in the small rural town of Greenvale.
Which Endurance Run will you watch first? B+R or J+V?
I plan to watch Vinny and Jeff and then Ryan and Brad right after back to back episodes. Two ERs a day? You can't go wrong.
Yeah same here. If it starts getting boring that way, then i'll watch the other to completion and then the other.
i will alternate which one i watch first. today i watched BR first and then VJ so episode 2 i will watch VJ first and then BR. then it will be BR first for episode 3 and so on and so forth
The best way to do this imo is to open both videos in two tabs and watch a small part of the first video (3 to 5 minutes), then go to the second video and watch until you reach the part where you stopped at in the first video and then you go back to the first video and watch another small part, then you go to the sec.... ok you get the idea.
I "want" to watch one first to completion then watch the other one, but i know i wont have the will power to do that. If they pre-recorder all of this and they all went up today i could/would watch all of one then the other but i know i wouldn't have the willpower to just watch one now and wait for the other one if it's a daily thing like it appears to be. Curiosity would get the better of me.
I think Jeff and Vinny are more entertaining because they fool around more and make more and funnier jokes, so if I'll only have time to watch one episode I will watch J+V. However, Brad and Ryan and are also totally awesome so I'll watch their version aswell if I'll have the time.
Ok, here was my thought process. I thought I'd test it out by watching them in the order they posted them. VJ was first this time, and it looks like that's the way to go for the rest of the endurance run. You see, Vinny is very slow and methodical while playing games, while Brad and Ryan don't stop for nothing basically. You get to see the first show in detail, and then during the BR episode you don't care as much if Brad blows through everything. It makes watching the second show easier, since you've already seen what's happened. Ironically enough though, both shows ended at the exact same spot in the first episode. This could backfire if Brad gets ahead of Vinny in the story.
On a side note, I found it hilarious that Ryan made some of the same jokes Jeff did. Also it's kinda funny seeing the two teams going through the same struggles, and how fast one team picks up on the mechanics, plot, or whatever over the other.
" i will alternate which one i watch first. today i watched BR first and then VJ so episode 2 i will watch VJ first and then BR. then it will be BR first for episode 3 and so on and so forth "This.
It looks like I'll be watching the B+R to completion and then savoring the V+J at my own pace. I hate to say it, but considering the amount of moaning and complaining during the first episode of the Brad and Ryan ER, I doubt it'll last all that long.
They'll either give up before it's over or totally get into the swing of it and become super funny. I'm prepared for both.
