So, this entire time WWII Normandy has been sitting in Von Prong's Backyard?

I guess this means we might be getting a sequel: DeathSpank vs. Hitler??

People on GameFAQs speculated a sequel in the near future, or DLC. Oddly enough, there isn't a, "Downloadable Content," selection in the menus. Even games that have yet to release DLC often have this menu, so it's strange, with an ending like that, if it is hinting at some sort of expansion, for there to not be that menu if DLC is planned.
 
If you notice, you money changes from gold coins to dollars after that battle, so I'm thinking you've just been sort of propelled into the future. 
 
My guess is that it might be episodic of DeathSpank sells well.

I think you'll have to fight the other thong wearers through different periods of time.

I'm not sure how I feel about the potential DeathSpank 2...how does a loot game work in a world where people use guns and don't really use armour? Or maybe everyone except you will use guns and you just fuck nazis up with that sweet Katana.

Hopefully in the sequel/DLC something happens to DeathSpank and he becomes a mute. I really enjoyed the game, but he got very annoying.  
 
I hope whatever happens next is DLC though, and not a full fledged new game/episode. I wouldn't mind paying $5 for some more story, but I won't pay another $15. I don't think it was worth $15 to begin with.
