I would really know what it is like , the AI BP was a pushover

i would like to know how to be be the black phantom for that. 
do you just have to use the black soul stone in the boss area?

I think you can even use the blue stone... I was trying to play as a blue phantom in that world and placed a blue sign.. then I got summoned and WTF I WAS THE MONK? 
 
But yes, generally people use the black stone in the area of the boss (well down by the stairs) and they get summoned to be the boss :)

I used the blue stone in 3-1 and was summoned for the duel, I got massacred partly because I didn't want to use my grass and the dick kept casting Warding

Happened to me a few times so far.  
 
I decided to be a dick the first time, hid right by the side of the door you enter from, and back stabbed the guy with the Bone Crusher after he stepped in, and ran forward without noticing me.  I only did that once though, I promise! D:

It happened to me once. I did like Turambar did and hid by the side of the door, then attacked right when he came through. I don't know if he was underleveled or what but he died in about 2 hits. It's kind of annoying though because you have to wait while they climb up the staircase, and it takes a while because of those black phantom mage guys.

I was summoned as him once while trying to help someone. I went into someone else's game as the boss... and totally killed him haha

I invade a lot and I almost feel sorry for the players that get put in that fight against me.
