Do you think it is worth purchasing a second copy of this game incase it gets scratched in the future when it is impossible to find?

Just wondering because I own a copy of this game and a store near me is selling 3 copies of Demon's Souls new for 59 dollars right now.  Debating on whether I should purchase the 2nd copy or not.

Edit: some of my PS2 games have some scratches despite the fact that I'm always super careful with them.  Also, I was concerned about it getting lost or stolen.  If I had a back-up then I wouldn't be quite as worried.  Does anyone here ever buy 2 copies of games that are rare or games that they love?

This. I wouldn't worry about it getting wrecked to much, unless you are really careless with your discs.

I would buy it to give it to the few people remaining who have yet to experience such a great game.

If my game is not in the system, its on my shelf inside its proper case. Your discs shouldn't get scratched if you keep them in the case or in the console. Unless your 360 decides to eat it...

True. You're done with the game then put it back in it's case. Takes about 3 seconds and saves you a lot of headaches later.
