I am thinking of pre ordering the game for the free DLCs on the PS3, so was wondering if there was any chance i can see a final build review, prior to buying it.

Nobody knows. The game doesn't release for another month and a half.

The safe money is on midnight pacific on the day of release, but looking back, it does appear that some of Bungie's previous releases did have an embargo date a few days prior to release (probably irrelevant though since this is their first game under Activision).

@postalrage They wont let the reviews hit until after launch because they want reviewers to experience Destiny with people in it.

Even though I would like a review before then, I hope it means we wont have a repeat of the SimCity launch.

The Beta had a TON of people in it and the Bungie servers didn't break a sweat, even when PSN and XBL crumbled.

Yeah basically the embargo lifts literally on release day. It isn't that there "is an embargo" they just aren't going to bring the game online until official release so it won't be playable until then.

Press can play 1 day before release but they'll be playing the same time we do.

They also shipped in a bunch of reviewers including Jeff to play a large chunk of the game (at least) yesterday.

I wouldn't trust any pre-release reviews of a game this heavily invested in online play.

Well, since it is literally impossible to play until the servers go up (about 12-ish hours before the midnight release depending on your location), there really can't be any pre-release reviews.
