    Overview

    Detention is a point-and-click horror adventure game released on January 12, 2017. It was developed by RedCandleGames and published by Coconut Island Games and RedCandleGames. The game combines elements of Chinese mythology, local Taiwanese culture, Taoism and Buddhism.

    Story

    Detention is set in a Taiwanese high school in the 1960s during the White Terror (a period of martial law, lasting from 1949 to 1987). The story follows a young Taiwanese student, Ray, trapped alone in her school with a classmate during a typhoon. Soon after which strange and horrific events occur, leading Ray to explore the school, which has become inhabited by spirits and demons.
