After taking some advice from , I paid Bobby the bribe and then took him out which seemed to have gotten the girl off and then got my money back, but I wasn't able to track down Jaya again. I went where I thought her apartment was, but she wasn't there. Then later when I checked, it says that I failed the mission, and IIRC it was something about not getting Jaya's debt settled. Did anyone successfully complete this mission after taking out Bobby? Did I do something wrong?

I started reading this thread "After taking some advice from , I paid Bobby the bribe and then took him out which seemed to have gotten the girl off..." at this point i questioned what kind of weird thread i had gotten my self into, and i quickly looked at the breadcrumbs. I then saw that i was in the Human Revolution forums, and realized you did not mean "gotten the girl off" as a sexual remark, but as a reference to a crime.
