It should have been the future of the early 90s. Then it'd be nothing but flannel shirts and grunge music.

This is the point where I should make a witty remark about dub-step, but then I realize I've never actually listened to a dub-step...thing.

So I'll just assume future grunge is robot Chris Cornell.

Mix that with some Katy Perry and you got your self a dub-step remix.

Who's Katy Perry? Is she future Courtney Love? I only understand music in terms of grunge.

No, I'm kidding. And clearly in need of sleep.

I liked the Renaissance inspirations, both in story and the overall aesthetic. Some was more overt than others but I appreciated the little details, Sarif's paintings in his office for example.

...and if you wanted Jensen's coat you had your chance, which bears little resemblance to be honest! Where the hell is the paisley patterns on the shoulders?!

@WatanabeKazuma: That coat is terrible. It looks NOTHING like Jensen's coat. I can't believe they're trying to sell this poor excuse of a coat as"official". Ugh.

Now that is the question. I can't imagine any fan that is not blind purchase it thinking it's even close to the "real" one. Actually, even blind people would notice such a fail.

The high collars are suggestive of Renaissance and Baroque clothing. This is meant to parallel the technological and philosophical advances occurring this period and how cybernetics represent a new "renaissance" of human thought.

Yea, people who hitch their collars up are pretty awesome. Eric Cantona and George Best alone are proof of this.

I personally prefer shirts with those button collars because they end up looking like high-collared shirts. Also makes your shoulders look broader if you need a little help with that.
