I was going to buy the first one or invisible war. I only got ten bucks and they are both the same price. Which one??? and why???

Dude, no question about it. You get the first one and then you get enough free time to sit down and play through it. The things that game does with narrative, freedom of choice and gameplay is everything that's missing from games today. Do be warned though, it's a complex affair, and it does require you to invest time and effort in it. Invisible War ended up being much more generic and easy to digest, and therefore a much worse game than the original.

Yeah, words cannot describe amazing and beautiful the original Deus Ex is.  I don't think Invisible War is a bad game at all, it's just nothing compared to the first.  Go with the first one, for sure.

I've got the second one and its good, but I hear the first one is a classic so maybe go for that one.

First one by miles. The second one shouldn't even exist. Might get the third one when it comes out.

The original. Don't even bother with the sequel. I sure didn't . Hopefully Deus Ex 3 redeems the failure that was Invisible War .
