I really like the Devil Bringer and the Red Queen's IR.

I like using the Devil Bringer but Dante is better on the whole.

I don't, I really like the older DMC's a lot better.

I totally liked Nero's moves and weapons better than Dante's, in fact I felt pretty underpowered when I had to switch back to Dante. That might be just because I had to re-learn his moves but I think Nero's arm is awesome, especially when you grab enemies in mid air.

Yeah, Dante is really good if you know how to use him, but i think Nero a lot easier to play with, so i'll stick with him.

As far as playability goes yeah, I like Nero better.
But as a character he's almost a carbon copy of Dante, a cheap imitation, a rip off, a copy cat, a phoney - so I'd go with Dante in that regard.

Dante is far superior to play with, and hes also not such a crybaby.

Nero's a badass too, but Dante... I mean, he has guns named after (I think) a song by Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder!

I thought Nero was a much more believable character and wasn't too over the top like Dante. Johnny Yong Bosch also did some brilliant voice work for the character.
So yeah, I would say I prefer him to the Dante in DMC4. :P

OLD DANTE IS OOOLD.

I havne't tried the other one. But so far NERO 7 Premium has done everything I've ever needed

I have to give it a tie. Dante is good from the older DMC's, but for DMC4 to have a new character that's memorable and just as good is quite a feat.

Gameplay wise. I'd call it a tie. But as a character I still prefer Dante. He made me laugh so hard in DMC 3.

When the change happened, I thought Nero was so much better. But once you learn Dante, he's much more fun to play as in my opinion

Well my opinion is largely similar to Termites. That change threw me off-balance because I've never played any previous Devil May Cry games to understand how to use Dante.
I still prefer Nero over Dante because I can get the job done quicker with him; I'd never deny using Dante, more fun to be had with. His character is much more appealing too.

I prefer Nero gameplay-wise, but Dante isn't a whiney bitch like Nero, so...

I like playing as Nero. The devil bringer is awesome. But overall Dante still is cooler, he doesnt whine and is much more entertaining personality wise.

Not really. I like Nero, but Dante is the resident badass.

I've never played a DMC before 4 so my first experience with the series was with Nero, and once I got Dante I didnt really like him. I like the idea of changing fighting styles but the way he plays does nothing for me. At first I thought it was because he was harder to play and that I didnt like him because it sucked... But after a while I realized that I just plain like Nero better.
Besides the whole Pandora thing with Dante was really lame imo.

Nero is much more fun to play with, but Dante has a more badass personality and gets you entertained throughout the story....so it's a tie for me.

Heck no! Dante will win against Nero any day... Besides, Nero's personality is not nearly as cool as Dante's.

I do,Nero's just fleshed out more as a character.There's more to him then a cocky attitude and one-liners.Don't get me wrong,I like a cocky attitude and one-liners and I like Dante but Nero is just a better character.That and I didn't like how Dante reverted back to his DMC 3 attitude for most of the game.I remember seeing the trailer for DMC 4 where Dante crashes through the window and kills the leader and he turns around and his face looks psychotic.I remember that and thinking "holy shit,dante has lost it,shit is going down people it's going down!"Instead he was acting so arrogant and making light of the situation while innocent people were dying.

As a character? No. 
 
Playing as him? Yes.  
 
The Devil Bringer is awesome and a much needed change to the series.
