Saw the video too, and just to clear it up, they didnt really give the audience a good look at the females boobs, I wouldnt be suprised if they are bigger, lol.
" Someone did. Which is fucking odd, that people are using Wet as a point of reference when it was entirely derivative to begin with. I guess it left some kind of impression. "well i played wet a few months ago, and thats all i could think of while watching this trailer :/
" @Landon:@M_33:@DystopiaX: Guys, I'm not saying this game looks anything like Vanquish. I'm saying that if this game released in the same time frame as Vanquish, there would be a lot of threads saying "Vanquish vs Devil's Third" and "Which should I buy: Devil's Third or Vanquish?". This situation was created with Prototype/Infamous and Blur / Split/Second because they were games set in the same genre released at practically the same time. I didn't mean that they had many common threads between them. "The whole point is that they're not really the same genre. Vanquish is a shooter. This looks more like a bayonetta-type action game.
Looks interesting but a bit rough at the moment. That's fine though. This is mulitplayer footage of a game that isn't even alpha yet.
I'll keep my hopes up, but having melee combat and gunplay worries me. Ninja Gaiden gave you a limited set of moves and tools, but the mechanics were polished and felt great. I fear that they'll lose focus trying to refine both types of gameplay and it won't be satisfying in either regard.
I am glad to see this coming to the PS3 also knowing Itagaki
the gameplay looks awesome
all I need now is DMC5 and NG3 make it happen >:(
Andriasang has an interview up with Itagaki covering Devil's Third.
The game looks like it's a ways off. Asked about the development state, Itagaki responded with a somewhat noncommittal "about 5 to 10%." "We've just started work. Of course, the base game engine is done." He also said to expect some interesting things during multiplayer combat, confirming that this will be a part of the game.
Seems odd to show a game so early indevelopment, but E3 would probably be a better target audience than TGS. Though to an in-engine trailer right off the bat instead of CGI is pretty impressive.
Good to see that the boobs are normal for once...
Maybe he wasn't behind the whole ridiculous boob thing?
As for the game... Well, we shall see when it comes out. At least it's multi-platform...I thought he was totally in Microsoft's camp but maybe he was just kissing ass back then.
