Was thinking about that also. In my opinion, if Torchlight 2 wants a safe release date without competing with Diablo 3, they should wait at least until Fall 2012, if not later. As for GW2, I don't know when its gonna be released but it's on my buy list. Played GW and enjoyed it, so I expect the same.

Well, even VS Diablo 3, they have a good chance, they always did good sales on Steam, and the game will be mostly 20$ me thinks. That's a huge advantage over the over-priced D3.

@Drakoji: My guess is Tourchlingh 2 will now be announced some time very soon and it will be out a month before D3. If it isn't, they might as well just hold on to it and keep working on it till it can compete.

As far as GW2, I don't think it really matters. I don't think either game will have that much of an effect to each other. I mean yeah there would be a effect to sales if they both came out at the same time but even if GW2 was released 3 weeks later it wouldn't bleed over.

Nah I know, GW2 will work well even if Diablo 3 is around, I only want to know when it goes out, I'm more interested in what the good Ex-Blizzard dudes can make than the new Activision era Blizzard.

I am very amused that the announcement for the release date is days after they decided to pull the PvP arena at time of launch. Hmm...Blizzard; Way to be.
