Planning on picking this game up tonight and playing tomorrow after work. But, I am curious as to how the stability has been. I know the first day had its ups and downs, but curious if there are still any issues.

Are there still game crippling bugs or most of the major ones been patched? For instance that bug where giving the Templar a shield causes your account to get locked.

I look extremely forward to playing this and just want to know if there is anything I should look out for.

It was down again this morning. It's back up now. I had some pretty good lag in it last night. Also, I lost a pretty substantial amount of playtime between Tuesday and Wednesday night, logged in last night, and about 45 minutes of playtime was just gone.

Blizzard said they were sorry though. Apparently you CAN run a company based on good intentions alone.

I played all day yesterday with no problems.

The stability has mostly been fine the entire time, logging in was the issue. Once you're in you tend to be set.

Thanks for the replies. Guess I will get to see how things are tomorrow night. I would say it could only get better, but this is Blizzard and I played when WoW first launched =/ I saw how long it took for things to get stable.

If the server is up, the stability is solid. That is my experience at least. I've been lag-jostled a little two or three times, but by and large I've been able to play as long a session as I want with reliable performance throughout.

Played all day yesterday and most of today with only the occasional lag spike which very well could have been on my end. Basically 100% A-OK.

Played throughout the day with zero issues.

After finally getting it the game installed (seriously Blizzard, installing from a DVD isn't THAT difficult!), I haven't had any problems with stability.

Oh, and if you buy the DVD, if you can't get the installer to run probably or it gets stuck at 1% - then just take all the files on the DVD and copy them to the PC, then the installer should run just fine.

Stability is good. It's no longer a nightmare to log in, but sometimes your ping can be really freaking bad. On launch day I could barely log in, but my ping was ~30. Now? No issue, but my ping is usually ~190-220

Still very playable, and usually unnoticeable compared to, say, a shooter.

This morning I had no problems but now my latency can spike to 2500.

I keep getting booted out after about 5-10 minutes of playing saying "you have been removed from the game". It's been frustrating to say the least.

Their servers noticibly degrade as you approach the evening. My ping at 6am will be about 100, but once we get to the evening, that shit spikes like a mother fucker. I hover around 400 with spikes to 900. No it isn't my internet, I've ran speed tests and network checks. Also, the fact that tons and tons of people report the same problem.

It's pretty annoying, because the game becomes frustrating to play.

I've had very little problems since launch... it's still weird having to deal with server lag while playing single-player though.

So as a person who would only have time to play this game during the evening (when the latency apparently gets real bad), should I buy the game now or wait another week or so?
