Does anyone else feel like they're detracting from the game ? They just don't look good at all, and it's so not Diablo. The game is all about constant action and gratification, and having your control removed feels so jarring (especially mid-fight). Also, when I get to a new boss I want the feeling of sudden panic and just scrambling to not die, not time to stretch out and mentally prepare for a big fight.

@Ares42: I like the cut scenes but the boss ones are kind of a tradeof, your right it that it detracts from the panic though it adds to the coolness, like seeing leoric's pieces come together was cool. Anyway it only detracts from the panic on the first playthrough since your discovering the bosses, I imagine the panic on HC on HIGHER difficulties will still take over :P.

No, they're fine.

I'm playing HC my first time through, so I can assure you every boss I am panicking PLENTY. Aside from King Leo, I basically have no idea what any of these bosses do going into them, and I'm at constant risk for losing my character as a result. It's pretty exciting. The Butcher had me pretty petrified (especially remember the original butcher) until I noticed the health wells in his room.
