Anyway, will this site implement the achievements for D3 like we have them now for PS3, WoW, Steam, and XBL?

@Anwar: well PS3 was implemented recently, and there's no reason SC might not get implemented as well.

If Diablo 3 has a website feature that lists all your achievements, gameplay stats etc its possible but until that comes about nope.

Blizzard would have to develop the API that these guys could hook into for the information. I doubt Blizz would bother developing those tools.

Didn't they do it for WoW though?

I think that now Blizzard has finished their B.Net architecture with Diablo III it's very possible. It was pointless before when it wasn't all finished with SC2.

It's up to Blizzard to release that information.

@Yehaw4Jihad: With the number of people who played WoW at its peak, I'm not surprised. Guess we'll see if they think it is important enough to develop, unlike Starcraft 2.

Blizzard is working on a Diablo "armory" website for battle.net, no idea whether there will be an API with it, as the first WoW armory didn't have that at first. I'd request it as a feature here once it's out, but I know they're busy with the site redesign.

They did it for WoW because the demand was way higher, given that tens of millions of people own that game, and have subscribed at one point or another.

Despite their considerable popularity, Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 haven't sold quite as much, though Diablo 3 has a decent chance of selling that highly, if Diablo 2's insanely high sales for years and years after it came out are any indication.
