As of now, I've made around ~$275 (although ~$230 after the cut) selling things here and there. What have you guys been selling? Have they been mostly smaller items, or huge-ticket items?

Diablo III returns to the world of Sanctuary twenty years after the events of Diablo II with a new generation of heroes that must defeat the demonic threat from Hell.
So, how much money have you guys made in the RMAH so far?
I have made $0. But I have only started playing Nightmare so my items are not in high demand.
I thought I'd try it out but I'll probably leave it alone soon. Seems really weird to me.
Man, I didn't think it'd be this easy. I was gonna get my self a copy of Diablo 2 and Lord of Destruction for $20 and I assumed that would take a while. Once Blizzard removes the parental controls from my account that were never setup or even do anything right now aside from lock me out of the RMAH I'mma get my copy of D2!
I haven't started throwing anything up there yet, but my brother has already pulled about $25. He's happy because it will pay for his WoW subscription (one addiction feeding another, eh?).
I just picked up a Dead Man's Legacy last night with a decent roll on it. Lots of dexterity, vit, attack speed, and a bonus to Cluster Shot.
ProTip: Battle.net Funds are Non-Transferable
EVERY TIME you make a sale make sure PayPal is selected from that little drop down menu. It DEFAULTS to transferring funds into your Battle.net account! I didn't know their funds are non-transferable! I lost my $70 I made and was forced to put in back into the AH since I have no interest in other Blizzard products.
However, if you have access to 2 Battle.net accounts you can launder the money through AH.

What about future Diablo III expansions?

@Crispy: You mean you've made $192 and given ActiBlizzard up to $82, right ? As long as that money sits on your Battle.net account you have jack shit to show for it.
...? The PayPal fee is ~$41, while I retain $230-ish. The fee itself only applies when using PayPal, so the money is in PayPal, not a Blizzard account. If you're using the Battle.net account payment option, there is no fee.

Guess I should sell that String of Ears when it comes to EU hmm?
You could probably sell it for quite a bit if the melee damage reduction on it is high (read: above 16%) with some good stats for a barb (str/vit/high AR). I wish I hadn't sold mine.

The Battle.net account payment option DOES have a fee. I know this because my brother knows this.

The fee for Battle.net is $1.00, so it's basically negligible.

I've made 15 bucks so far. My goal is to make enough to buy Mist of Pandaria which is very feasible even with just selling middling rares.
dam you basically reminded me about WOW subscription, I won't mind paying for that if its with D3 money :P.

Keep in mind that you can't use your battle net balance to pay for your WoW subscription. You can however use it to buy Blizzard's games, expansions, and WoW character services such as faction/race/appearance/name/server changes. However, you can sell D3 items on the auction house through paypal which CAN be used to pay for your WoW subscription or...anything else obviously. So be sure choose the appropriate option in the drop down window while selling on the auction house. Here's a faq.

Sitting on a few items waiting for it to roll out in the EU. Going to need to push further in inferno before I sell the good stuff I'm actually using.
$0. I feel like I'm missing out on something big here. I play the game a few hours or so after work, I have some decent rare/legendary items sitting in my bank collecting dust. I could be making money playing a game I enjoy. The thing is, I have a feeling the B/O prices we're seeing will be short-lived, especially as soon as the new patch releases. That said, people are in fact paying these extreme prices to get items they desire. I think I'll set it up tonight.
@valrog: You can only use the money on your battle.net account to buy new games, or spend it on the RMAH in Diablo 3. You can't renew your subscription in WoW with it. That's what I've been told, at least.
Also, as someone else pointed out, once the money is on your battle.net account they're there for good. You can't transfer money from your battle.net account to your PayPal account.
@valrog: Battle.net balance FAQ is here.
What can I purchase with my Battle.net Balance?

Shit... what did you sell?
Zunimassa's Vessel for $72 (I could have gotten more for that, but it was one of the first items I posted), my bow for $180 (which I, again, could have gotten more for), and a few other rares here and there for mostly $10 each.
It kind of sucks farming without my bow now, but I've gotten used to it. Just takes longer.
@jakob187: The money can't be used to pay for WoW subscriptions from the Battle.net wallet. Hope he has a Paypal to transfer it out to.
Not a whole lot, I put a chest piece on for $2, then had second thoughts and pulled it, which later sold for 1m on the gold AH. At this point, I think I need gold more anyway.

People do spend that kind of money.
