Health packs restore some amount of a players health, and can be permanent or temporary. They come packaged in a variety of forms, from the common med kit, to drugs, medicine, and even food.

The Horadric Cube is an essential item in Diablo II that is used to combine items into new a powerful items. Also used to reassemble several story items.
Identify scrolls are an item found in some action-RPG's which allow you to see the properties of a weapon/piece of armor.

A Katar is a type of short punching sword, most commonly used in close hand-to-hand combat.
Used to open doors, or anything else that is locked. In any game where the player has an inventory, it's a safe bet that a key will appear at some point.
